Our Apartment

We stayed in a spectacular 75m² two-bedroom apartment, which we fell in love with the moment we walked in. A spacious, bright loft-style duplex with modern decor and vibrant colors.

On the ground floor, there was a small entrance hall leading to the different areas: a fully equipped kitchen, living-dining room, bathroom, toilet, and a bedroom with a double bed.

The kitchen had everything needed for a comfortable stay: stovetop, microwave, small fridge, capsule coffee machine, kettle, and basic utensils to prepare meals during the stay. The living-dining room shared space with the kitchen and was very cozy. It included a dining table with six blue chairs, which we also used as a workspace at times. Beneath the windows was a gray sofa bed and a TV with Netflix access.

Our bedroom was equipped with a comfortable double bed, a small wardrobe, and a large window letting in plenty of natural light. Two nightstands and a striking peacock painting decorated the wall, all in vibrant blue and yellow tones.

Upstairs, there was another beautiful loft-style bedroom with a double bed. The girls didn’t hesitate for a second to choose which room they wanted. As soon as they saw the loft room, they knew it was a no-brainer. They had never stayed in a room like this before and loved it.

This bedroom had a comfortable double bed with a bright yellow bedspread and cushions, giving it a cheerful touch. The headboard was integrated with two nightstands and black lamps, adding warmth to the space. There was also a small wardrobe and two beautiful angled windows with blinds, flooding the room with natural light.

They loved having their own room on a separate floor, enjoying privacy, and of course, spent a lot of time peeking out of the windows.

It was truly an experience for them!

Bathroom and Toilet

The bathroom and toilet were simple but immaculate, with everything new and extremely clean. Equipped with a shower, soft towels, hairdryer, and amenities like shower gel, shampoo, and body lotion.

Our apartment had views of a modern office building. Despite being in a very central and lively area, the apartment was quite quiet.

One of the most special corners of the apartment was the wooden staircase, perfectly complemented by a wall decorated with golden wallpaper and colorful birds. It quickly became our favorite photo spot.

Dining Options

City Nest Apartments does not have its own restaurant, but each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, allowing you to prepare your own meals during your stay.

Additionally, there is a wide variety of dining options nearby. On the ground floor of the building, there is an Indian restaurant, and just a few meters away is the Quadrio Shopping Center, which has two supermarkets and several dining options, such as McDonald’s, Starbucks, Vapiano, and Costa Coffee.

Right at the entrance to the shopping center, you can also find the famous Kafka’s Head, one of Prague’s most iconic attractions.

The worse

Our stay at City Nest Apartments in Prague was simply perfect. It’s one of those places where you don’t feel like you’re in a typical tourist accommodation, but rather at home. That’s why I consider it ideal for long stays or for digital nomads seeking comfort and a cozy atmosphere.

However, if I had to mention one thing that could improve, it would be the lack of a washing machine or laundry area in the building. For longer stays, this would be a great plus and make the stay even more comfortable and practical.

If you have mobility issues, I recommend mentioning it when booking. In our case, the building’s elevator did not reach the apartment door, so a few steps had to be climbed to access the apartment. It wasn’t an inconvenience for us.

The best

The best part of City Nest Apartments, aside from its excellent location, is the warmth it conveys. Even with its modern design, it manages to create a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel at home from the first moment.
